Our veteran’s intervention is approved by SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
While the majority of those leaving the Armed Forces in the UK transition successfully back into civilian life, some face challenges and turn to crime.
These individuals experience higher levels of anxiety, social isolation, excessive drinking and physical and mental health problems. Because of their Armed Forces background and the discipline associated with that, many can be less inclined to seek help for their problems, including finding work or a place to live.
Our intervention gives ex-army service personnel the tools and strategies to support them to set long-term goals and transition back into employment.
